Accommodation

For those coming from out of town, we can recommend several accommodations in the area. Staying in Sherborne will be most convenient as the train from London goes straight into town. If you will not have a car, booking centrally in Sherborne is essential. The Queens Arms and The Kings Arms are beautiful, but will require a car. Please keep in mind that local accommodation options are limited, so we recommend booking as soon as possible.

Transport

Guests coming from london can drive or take the train to sherborne station from london’s waterloo station. Either option takes approximately 3 hours.

Train tickets can be purchased at The Train Line. Be sure to purchase at least 1 month in advance for the best fares.

The church is located in folke, a 10 minute drive from Sherborne centre. The reception is another 5 minute drive from the church.

For those not driving, limited cars will be available to transport guests from the church to the reception. If you would like a seat, please let us know in your rsvp.

For guests with cars, we recommend that you drive to the church and then to the reception. Parking will be available at the church along folke lane. At the reception, parking will be in a field to the left of the drive. Cars can be left overnight and retrieved the next day. Signs will be in place to direct you throughout the journey.
